  • “PaPaw, mon”
    “Where we goin’”
    “pin”
“You want to open the garage”
    “Uh-huh, gawg”
“Do you want to push the button?”
    “Uh-huh, but..tin”
    “PaPaw, mow”
    “Talk softly”
    “PaPaw, mow”
    “That’s better”
“We can’t ride the tractor, ’cause its raining”
    “Mow!”
“Not now.  We can hammer nails”
    “Uh-huh, naoes”

Grandson is learning to talk at an exponential rate now.  It’s just amazing.
He can also drive an 1-1/4 roofing nail in under 10 whacks!

  • Now how lucky is this young man, to have such an expert interpreter and willing accomplice in the serious business of Learning to Mow, Learning to Nail, and — best of all — Speaking Softly! Loved this vignette

  • How old is he?

  • Wow!  That’s good, ten whacks or fewer.  He is a natural then, I just learned this and I am … uhh, well, in light of your last post, I’ll let discretion reign and keep that a secret.

I hope your health continues and the grandson teaches you great things nearly daily.  My grands teach me things each time I have them.  How precious they are.

    Take care,

    Deb
