There is nothing more pure than a spontaneous hug from a three-year-old. And, given enough of these, I think that I could survive on this alone.

It’s funny. I don’t hang out with kids but I have a freaky relationship with 3-5 yr olds. They come up to me and want to be held, they say things like “look at the little girl. how pretty!” (pointing to me) … or they want to sit close to me and act like they know me. It’s so SWEET!
So true. And so especially wonderful to experience.
